An Ode to Fall

The sky is crisp. The air, cutting ice.

Trees paint themselves in earth-tone swathes. Every day the same, and suddenly you wake up realizing the greens are yellows are reds are gone.

Change is slow. Quick. You’ll miss it if you blink.
